Jumping in with both feet, this half sleeve was a first tattoo experience.
I was asked to design a floral piece using birds of paradise and lots of color with minimal black. We looked at lots of reference photos, but other than that, I was given free reign. I am so pleased with the movement and layers that we settled on using implications of dirt and sky to hold the composition together.
I don’t often do full color work and this was one of the most fun examples in my portfolio to date.
